Pediatric Neuropsychologist, Founder


Claire believes the work she does at Cogwheel with clients helps foster inclusion in their communities, and emboldens families to become advocates and agents of change in their children's lives. In her spare time, Claire enjoys cooking, music, and playing outside in the beautiful Pacific NW. Claire has worked in Early Childhood Special Education for the last 10 years, and holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Washington.

Claire Sherman, M.ED, BCBA, LBA

Behavior Analyst

Robin is an ASHA-certified SLP with a Master's degree in SLP from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Before relocating to Seattle, she served as Chair of the Speech and Language Dept. at an independent school in New York City where she worked with students with language-based learning disabilities, Austim Spectrum disorders, receptive-expressive language disorder, and social pragmatic difficulties. She favors a naturalistic, client-centered approach.

Jamie is a board certified and licensed OT who earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University and received her Master of Science in OT at San Jose State University. She chose to become an OT because she is passionate about promoting health and well-being in children and adults with special needs. Besides practicing OT, she also loves coaching adaptive swimming, gymnastics, and yoga.

I have been working with children with special needs since 2011. I have provided in-home services, worked at a public elementary school and within a clinic environment. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors and crafting. I moved from California to Washington in 2017.

Isabel is a web developer and UX designer. After studying Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of San Diego, she decided to dedicate her professional life to the creation of educational technology for children within the spectrum. She has a Master’s degree in Special Education, and is currently studying Human Center Design Engineering at University of Washington. Isabel’s ultimate goal is to create innovative solutions tailored to the needs of children with ASD and other developmental disabilities, to help them reach their full potential and have access to better education and job opportunities

Aparna is a Certified Professional Biller from AAPC. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and has 15 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management Domain. For the last 3 years I am specializing in ABA billing services, and also has worked in all aspects of ABA back-office support and HIPAA requirements. Her passion is a great team to meet children's ABA needs.

He enjoys psychological testing and hopes to continue his education in a Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology. Jayden loves reading, gaming, and playing tennis in his free time.

After relocating to Seattle, she began studying Software Development and is passionate about working with mission based organizations, building software and applications that help solve problems in people's lives.
